FORMAT:
There will be 6 Stages of roughly 25 miles of smooth mixed surfaces.
Competitors will set off at 1 minute intervals and be timed to the nearest second. If it is dusty, then 2 minutes intervals.
Timing will be by a 24 hour clock. An official reference clock will be available. The lowest cumulative elapsed time over 6 runs (clock wise, counter clockwise) will decide the winner.
Overtaking is FORBIDDEN.
In the event of a competitor being obstructed by a proceeding competitor, the run will be deemed null and void and the obstructed competitor will be allowed another run with no penalty.
Each competitor will carry a time card in his/her vehicle at all times. This can only be completed by authorized event officials. Any tampering with documented times will result in exclusion of the competitor.
Competitors must stop at both the start and finish controls for each run.
The starting order will be published prior to the start. It is each competitors responsibility to ensure he/she is available to start on the correct minute.
Competitors must start when instructed to do so. Failure to start promptly will result in exclusion.
Competitors may bring guests with them, it is $10 per guest and can only be bought on the day of this event when you sign the waiver at our entry gate.
There is a $10 Gate Fee for all competitors that can only be bought on the day of this event when you sign the waiver on our entry gate.
ONLY THE DRIVER CAN BE IN THE COMPETING CAR DURING THE COMPETITION.
TECHNICAL:
Cars will be inspected and scrutineered for basic safety and roadworthyness and compliance with class regulations. Any competitor not complying with his/her required class regulations may at the discretion of the Scruitineer be moved to an appropriate class.
It is the competitors responsibility to ensure the correct class is entered and that the car meets the basic requirements of roadworthyness. The Scruitineers decision is final.
Competition tires / Rally tires of any sort will be prohibited. If you have any doubts as to the legality of what you propose to use, please contact the Clerk of the Course Ivor Wigham by email or phone.
The following safety related items will be checked and enforced.
1. Cars must have a smooth and positively closing throttle mechanism.
2. Road wheels must be adequately secured and any loose trim or covers must be removed.
3. Foot brake must be fully operational.
4. Tires must be in good condition with no wire protruding.
5. A functional seat belt must be worn at all times. Standard inertia real lap and diagonal is acceptable, but a 4-point competition type harness is preferred.
6. No loose articles must be carried in the vehicle.
7. The standard towing eyes must be attached and visible (i.e. take off removable plastic covers).
8. All vehicles must be silenced in accordance with usual road going standards.
9. Competition style numbers will be supplied to each competitor and must be stuck to the left hand rear quarter glass.
10. NO OIL LEAKS.
11. Competitors must wear a suitable approved crash helmet.
Before starting a run, all windows must be closed.
In the event of a tie, the winner will be the competitor with the fastest time on Run 1. If it is still a draw, the fastest on Run 2 will decide the winner and so on.
CLASSES:
Please indicate on your entry form which class you wish to enter:
CLASS 1. 2WD Road Cars.
The only modifications permitted are: Air Filter, Exhaust System, Up-Rated Suspension (NOT COIL-OVER) design, any body modifications not affecting performance and fly-off type handbrake.
CLASS 2. Modified 2WD Road Cars.
All other 2WD Road Legal Vehicles.
CLASS 3. Stock AWD Road Cars.
The only modifications permitted are: Air Filter, Exhaust System, Up-Rated Suspension (NOT COIL-OVER) design, any body work modification not affecting performance and fly-off type handbrake.
CLASS 4. Modified All Wheel Drive Road Cars.
All other AWD Road Legal Vehicles.

The following awards will be presented immediately following confirmation of results.
1st in each Class.

CAUTION: When you are driving in our area be sure to stick close to the speed limit, specifically in Waldo, Hampton and Lawtey. Our Local and State Police force are very quick to hand out speeding tickets if you are 3 miles over the posted limit.....
